What about your life would you like to celebrate most?
I want to celebrate the journey of personal growth and the deep connections I've built with the special few who have supported me through life's toughest battles.
From surviving breast cancer twice, at 29 and 46, enduring full life preservation surgery, and coping with the unimaginable loss of a child, to navigating the challenges of IVF, family and domestic violence, family dysfunction, relationship breakdowns, and financial struggles—these experiences have tested me in ways I never imagined. Yet, they have also shaped the person I am today.
My greatest achievement through it all is my amazing daughter, Katina, who brings light and purpose to my life. I want to capture not just the milestones, but the small, everyday moments of joy and laughter that have carried me through. These moments are a testament to my/our resilience and a tribute to the incredible people who have stood by me/us on this journey.
What 3 words best describe you in this phase of your life?
• Resilient Even when life feels overwhelming, I have an innate ability to keep going doubling down on my strength.
• Vulnerable Acknowledging these feelings and being open about them is a terrifying, powerful and brave thing.
• Hopeful Despite the challenges, I still feel a sense of looking forward and finding light in the future.
What do you love about this time of life?
I love the chance to embrace a new start and a fresh chapter in my life. This time allows me to close doors behind me, lock them, and never look back.Together with my daughter, Katina, we are forging a bright new life that awaits us, filled with hope, growth, and endless possibilities.
