Hello.

My name is Gray. I am a photographer, storyteller, champion of women and the owner and principal photographer behind Simply Gray Photography.

Simply Gray’s Studio is located at Level 1, 475 Burke Rd, Camberwell Victoria, Australia.

My style has evolved over the last 14 years, but what stays the same is I photograph with great passion, heart and no judgement.

Every woman deserves to be seen, celebrated, and heard, not just the famous, but the women we walk past daily. Your story matters, and your presence deserves to be captured in a way that reflects your strength, wisdom, and beauty.

I specialise in transformative photography experiences that help women rediscover their confidence.

Simply Gray Photography isn’t just about photos—it’s about seeing yourself the way the world sees you.

Our women photography projects are a movement, not just a photoshoot

What started as a simple idea has grown into something extraordinary.

  • In 2023, I launched the 50 & Wiser Club Book, featuring 74 incredible women over 50. The exhibit and events drew over 450 attendees and raised $20,000 for the Go Girls Foundation.

  • In 2024, the Wise Women 2024 project expanded even further, culminating in a powerful exhibit celebrating 40 remarkable women and their stories.

  • Now, in 2025, we’re evolving once again. Wise Women 2025 will feature an online magazine and a special edition print magazine at the end of the year, ensuring that every woman’s story is seen, shared, and remembered.

  • Because every woman has a story worth telling.

10 Facts About Me:

  • I love coffee and cinnamon. Together and alone.

  • I was born in a small town in upstate New York, only 90 kilometres north of Manhattan and met my Aussie husband at work in Chicago while living in Washington DC.

  • I moved to Australia when I was 30 in 2002. You can do the math of my age now.

  • I love to ski. I used to run. I don’t love the gym, but I go as I need to keep my 50+ year old body strong. Pilates is my friend.

  • I used to be fluent in Swedish and German. Now I can order a coffee in both languages and for that I am happy.

  • I have 3 kids, they are way bigger now then they are in the image above.

  • I have gone from a size 10 to a size 6, then up to a size 14. I know my self-worth is far more important than my weight. But I know it is hard not to get stuck in your own head. Thank goodness I know how to pose for the camera to get around being hard on myself. I can teach you too. And make you laugh in the process.

  • I have a dog named Ivy. If you like dogs you may meet her. If you don’t like furry friends, she is happy in her kennel.

  • And finally. I love being a photographer and I can’t wait to welcome you into the studio!
