How wise are you? 51 Years Wise
Where are you from? I am little bit of a nomad, born on Norfolk Island, completed school and university in NZ, hold an Australian and British passport and have lived in both for long periods of time. I now reside in Kew.
Bio: After many years of working in four and five-star hotels in both the UK and Australia, I identified a gap in the market. Revenue management was becoming an essential part of the day-to-day operations within the hotel industry and many smaller ‘mum and dad owned’ hotels and motels didn’t have the necessary skillset, nor could they substantiate the investment in a full-time person to undertake this responsibility.
I decided to take the giant ‘leap of faith’ to begin my own consulting business - establishing RevenYou in 2015. Proudly wearing two hats, mother and businesswoman, I was an early adopter of the work-from-home model. Our team has grown to 13 and is based throughout Australia and overseas, with many incredible parents, awesome Aunties and global travellers, providing a flexible life-work balance is what sets us apart.
My daughter is my proudest achievement, and I am incredibly proud of all that Erin has already accomplished. Together we are exploring the majestic beauty of Australia and enjoy travelling the world – with no two countries visited twice. Initially, our itineraries were busy from morning to evening, but now we are learning to take time to stop and enjoy being in the moment. In between, parenting, work and travel, I love a great musical theatre production.

What about your life would you like to celebrate most? My child and my business.
What 3 words best describe you in this phase of your life? Freedom, peace, adventure.
What do you love about this time of life? Being there to support Erin as they begin to find their place in the world - providing them with the knowledge and confidence to know that they can do whatever and be whomever they aspire to be. I have finally found peace and am financially able to support that new-found calm
Anything else you would like to add about life? It’s a precious gift that we have been given.
