What about your life would you like to celebrate most? I want to celebrate feeling healthier and stronger. Taking better care of myself, both physically and mentally, has been the key to this transformation.
Over the past few years, I’ve made a conscious effort to improve my diet, limit alcohol intake, and embrace a variety of exercises. Pilates, weight training, and jogging have not only helped me stay fit but have also been fantastic ways to quiet my mind when it’s racing at a million miles an hour.
By prioritising my well-being, I’ve adopted a clearer, more positive mindset. This shift has boosted my energy and focus, giving me the optimism to embrace whatever comes next. In fact, I even decided to learn Mandarin this year! I feel ready to take on new challenges at this stage of my life, and that’s something worth celebrating.
What 3 words best describe you in this phase of your life? Empowered, Balanced and Thriving.
What do you love about this time of life?: It is nice to be recognised as an expert in my field, as for the past 21 years, I have dedicated myself to mastering my craft. It is incredibly rewarding to use my skills to help others feel more confident in themselves.
I am grateful to have built a strong professional network, forming valuable relationships with colleagues both locally and internationally. These connections have not only supported my growth but have also opened doors for me to share my knowledge and teach others around the world.
I am also fortunate to have a harmonious balance between my work and family life, which enables me to maintain a positive mindset and perform at my best as a physician, wife and mother to my two growing boys.
